Dr. Rad, a distinguished dental professional, earned a DDS from Mashhad Dental School in 1989 and a PhD in Periodontal Dentistry from Glasgow Dental School in 1996. He passed the National Specialty Board Exam in Periodontology in Iran in 1996. In 2022, he secured licensure for general dental practice with the RCDSO after passing the NDEB process. Dr. Rad served as a Professor in Periodontology at Mashhad Dental School until 2019, heading the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants from 2012 to 2015. In his private practice, he has handled over 8000 cases of periodontal procedures and inserted more than 7000 dental implants. Dr. Rad directed the Post-graduate Specialty Program in Periodontics at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences from 2004 to 2014 and contributed to research as a Clinical Research Assistant at Glasgow Dental School. With over 50 articles in international dental journals, Dr. Rad’s 25-year career showcases expertise in periodontal and implant surgery, making a lasting impact on both academic and clinical dentistry.
