Dr. Parastoo Afghari earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013 in Iran, followed by a Master’s in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, which refined her diagnostic expertise. After six years of practicing dentistry, she relocated to Canada in 2019, where she successfully navigated the challenges of the pandemic and has been dedicated to caring for patients since early 2023.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr. Parastoo serves as a part-time instructor at the University of Toronto, where she shares her passion for oral radiology with future dentists. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys staying active through cycling and swimming.
